Refund Policy
1. Overview
This policy explains refunds for fees paid to Knowledge Syscode Academy for online courses. Prices on the site are informational; purchases may be processed through invoicing or authorized payment partners. Consumer rights under South African law apply alongside these terms.
2. Eligibility Windows
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not accessed more than 20% of released core materials for that cohort. Access logs determine material usage. Institutional or enterprise contracts follow their written agreements.
3. Partial Refunds
After the eligibility window, partial refunds may be considered for documented service interruptions attributable to us or medical emergencies supported by documentation. Partial amounts reflect unused portions minus administrative costs disclosed at purchase.
4. Non-Refundable Items
Certificate issuance fees after completion, bespoke mentoring add-ons already delivered, and third-party software licences purchased on your behalf are generally non-refundable once activated.
5. How to Request
Email compliance@knowledge-syscode.digital with your enrolment reference, purchase date, and reason. We respond within five business days with a decision and timeline.
6. Processing Time and Method
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank timelines may vary. If original payment cannot be reversed, we will arrange an alternative traceable method.
7. Cohort Cancellations by Us
If we cancel a cohort before start, you may transfer to another cohort or receive a full refund. If we cancel mid-course due to force majeure, we will offer proportional credit or refund options documented in cohort communications.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating chargebacks so we can resolve issues. Unfounded chargebacks may affect future enrolment eligibility.
9. Consumer Rights (South Africa)
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act where applicable. You may approach relevant consumer bodies for advice on disputes.
