Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Knowledge Syscode Academy websites, learning materials, or related services (the 'Services'), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services
We provide structured online learning content, mentor-supported study paths, and related educational resources. Features may vary by cohort. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and safeguard credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. Institutional enrolments remain subject to separate agreements.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including attempting unauthorized access, scraping in violation of technical limits, harassing staff or learners, or distributing malware. You will not upload unlawful content or infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Intellectual Property
Course materials, trademarks, and site content are owned by Knowledge Syscode Academy or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal learning. Redistribution, resale, or public broadcasting of materials is prohibited unless expressly permitted in writing.
6. Disclaimers
Services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Education outcomes depend on participant effort and context. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or error-free materials. Nothing on the site constitutes professional, legal, or investment advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Knowledge Syscode Academy and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to fees paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where limitation is prohibited.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Parties submit to the jurisdiction of South African courts. You agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational reasons with notice where feasible. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect legal, product, or operational updates. Material changes will be posted with an updated 'Last updated' date. For enrolled cohorts, significant changes affecting fees or access will be communicated through course channels where required.
